Almost two decades ago, on 7th and 8th June 2003, 13,5 mln of Poles positively answered the referendum question: “Do you agree on the Polish Republic joining the European Union?”. Until today the similar number of the Polish population is satisfied with the EU membership, acknowledging that participating in the European integration process increased their standard of living.
