Survey of Cross-Border Commuters in Liechtenstein

The survey was commissioned by the Stiftung Zukunft.li. The survey was conducted in May 2016 in the form of an online survey, with the option of participating with a print questionnaire. Several companies from Liechtenstein could be won over to participate. These are distributed among industrial enterprises, financial service providers, trade, public enterprises, and State employees. With a response rate of 46.1 percent, 2226 validly completed questionnaires were returned. The goal of the survey was to obtain assessments of the current situation with respect to living environment, commuting to work, and other aspects, as well as to find out the willingness or intention to immigrate to Liechtenstein.
