As a successor to the Constitution of 1921, the Landesverwaltungspflegegesetz (LVG) (Law on the Administration of Liechtenstein) came into force in 1922, which still regulates Liechtenstein's administrative (complaints) procedure in domestic courts today. Due to its history, the LVG has always had some peculiarities that make it a special procedural law enactment that creates challenges for legal practice. The present project aims to make today's Liechtenstein administrative procedure under the LVG understandable and appreciated in its history and peculiarity, but also in its dogmatic construction de lege lata, not least with a view to possible future reform. Such a reform has been repeatedly addressed for decades, but has not yet been implemented.
