The main task of the European Legal Experts Network on Equality and Non-Discrimination (EELN) is to provide reliable and expert information to support the European Commission regarding the development of the two anti-discrimination directives (2000/43/EC, Anti-Racism Directive; 2000/78/EC, Employment Directive). This includes, among other things, analyses of the impact of regulatory requirements in practice, related case law, recent legal developments and recommendations on how to effectively combat discrimination.
The network is operated by Human European Consultancy, Migration Policy Group (MPG) and Utrecht University on behalf of the European Commission.
