To extend previous small states research at the Liechtenstein Institute, the current research project focuses on Liechtenstein’s growth and business cycle pattern in comparison to the other European small states. Economic, institutional and political differences are of analytical interest and the economic impacts of the Financial Crisis and the COVID-19-pandemic are of high relevance in the research project.
