Direct Democracy in Liechtenstein – Development of instruments and practice

Direct Democracy is a research area that is permanently being worked on from the perspective of political science and law (see publications below). A special focus of research on direct democracy is Wilfried Marxer's main research project. Various international conferences have been organized, numerous publications have appeared, and surveys on referendums in Liechtenstein have been conducted. A monograph on the development of direct-democratic instruments and application practice is in preparation.
