The gross domestic product (GDP) is a key figure for various economic analyses and assessments. In order to improve the data situation, the Liechtenstein Institute produces a GDP flash estimate, which provides an initial GDP estimate almost a year before the publication of the GDP estimate by the Office of Statistics.
The GDP flash estimate is a module of the «Applied Economic Analysis», which is supported by the Government of the Principality of Liechtenstein. The GDP flash estimate was published for the first time in March 2021 and will be published annually in spring.
