Head of the ifo Centre for Macroeconomics and Surveys and Professor of Economics, in particular Macroeconomics and Finance at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Prof Peichl was and is involved in numerous research projects for national ministries, the European Commission, the European Parliament and the OECD. His research work has been published in numerous national and international journals. Andreas Peichl's research focuses on finance, labour market economics and distributional analysis.
Member of the Academic Council since 2021.
