On September 13, 2024, students from the 6th grade of the Liechtensteinisches Gymnasium visited the Liechtenstein Institute with their teacher Marlies Kessler as part of the compulsory elective course "Politics in Liechtenstein and the surrounding area".

The students had the opportunity to spend an afternoon getting to know the research facility from the inside. Director Thomas Meier gave them a warm welcome. Fabian Frommelt, Head of the History Department, then introduced them to a selection of the most important historical events of the church hill in Bendern, the church and the vicarage (now the Liechtenstein Institute). Librarian Rosmarie Lorenz then showed the students the physical and virtual versions of the Institute's library. Thomas Milic, Head of the Politics Department, explained direct democracy and voting behavior in Liechtenstein and offered the group the opportunity to evaluate data from surveys on a voting proposal themselves.
